Responsibilities;

  • Classroom Management: Reinforce classroom expectations, uphold school-wide protocols, and assist in redirecting challenging behaviors to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Student Engagement: Build meaningful rapport by engaging with students in and out of the classroom, showing genuine interest in their academic growth, and offering support.
  • Individualized Assistance: Provide one-on-one help to students needing extra guidance, ensuring they stay on track and grow in both confidence and understanding.
  • Admin Support: Help with key classroom tasks such as attendance, grading, and tracking student progress to support the lead teacher's instructional goals.

Requirements;

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience working with K-12 students is essential, with experience in a school setting highly valued.
  • Language: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred to better serve diverse student communities.
  • Core Competencies: Strong classroom management and collaboration skills are key to success in this role.
