Responsibilities;
- Engaging Instruction: Deliver pre-planned lessons with clarity and enthusiasm to keep students focused, actively learning, and on task throughout the day.
- Lesson Creation: For long-term assignments, create lesson plans and grade student work, ensuring alignment with California Standards and engagement across diverse learning styles.
- Classroom Management: Establish a positive, well-managed learning environment by setting clear expectations, supervising transitions, and responding to behaviors in line with school policies.
- Comprehensive Teacher Notes: Provide clear, comprehensive notes on student behavior and progress to support instructional continuity and teacher follow-up.
Requirements;
- Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- Certification: Must hold a valid California teaching credential or an Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit-or be open to obtaining one.
- Experience: Prior experience working with K-12 students-whether through teaching, tutoring, or similar roles-is essential for success in this position.
