Responsibilities;

  • Engaging Instruction: Deliver prepared lesson plans with energy and clarity to keep students focused, involved, and productive throughout the day.
  • Academic Guidance: Support student learning by incorporating checks for understanding and providing timely answers to questions as they arise.
  • Positive Classroom Culture: Foster a respectful and structured learning environment by setting clear expectations, supervising transitions, and addressing behaviors in alignment with school protocols.
  • Comprehensive Teacher Notes: Document student behavior and progress in detailed notes to ensure continuity and support for ongoing instruction.

Requirements;

  • Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Certification: A valid California teaching credential or Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit is needed-or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience: Prior experience teaching, tutoring, or working with K-12 students is essential to succeed in this role.
