Substitute Teacher

Responsibilities;
- Lesson Implementation: Follow provided lesson plans in an engaging manner, ensuring students' understanding of course content. Depending on the assignment, may be asked to lesson plan.
- Behavior Management: Foster a safe and engaging learning environment by setting clear behavioral standards, actively interacting with all students, and effectively addressing challenging behaviors in a timely fashion.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist the lead teacher by accurately recording attendance, reporting any concerns to administration, and providing thorough notes on the day's activities and student progress.
Requirements;
- Education: Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Certification: We highly encourage individuals with a CA Credential, Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit, or any valid substitute permit to apply.
- Experience: Must demonstrate previous experience teaching students K-12. Although not required, experience lesson planning is highly desired.
